About the event

The meeting place for the first get together is the Tiger Inn Beverley which is across the road from Kitchen Lane where the garden is situated. We are meeting to discuss ideas and suggest how the community can benefit from such a project, we want YOUR opinion.

The Beverley Community Herb Garden is calling for volunteers interested in medicinal herbs and creating wildlife spaces within gardens.  We have a 12m x 12m plot on the Kitchen Lane allotments, behind the allotment shop, which will be transformed into an outside space to learn about herbs, and to share social community activities that aid health and wellbeing.

We would very much like to hear from you if you are interested in taking part, sharing skills/knowledge and or would just like to get your hands dirty!

We use a many hands/light work approach where you can volunteer for an hour, a day, or whenever you have some time to be outside, in good company and in amongst some amazing plants.  Volunteering hours contributed can be exchanged for workshop places and harvest produce baskets.

Even if you're not entirely sure it's for you, just come down and see what it's all about!
